This article examines the contribution of national cultural elements to foreign language education. It argues that language learning becomes more meaningful when learners can connect linguistic knowledge with their cultural experiences. The paper discusses theoretical foundations, instructional approaches, research findings, and practical implications. Evidence from previous studies suggests that culturally responsive language teaching enhances motivation, comprehension, communication skills, and intercultural competence.
