Academic writing is a fundamental component of higher education, enabling students to communicate ideas, conduct research, and present arguments in a clear, logical, and evidence-based manner. However, many university students encounter difficulties in producing well-structured academic texts due to limited linguistic competence, insufficient knowledge of academic conventions, and a lack of effective writing strategies. This study explores the development of academic writing skills among university students and examines instructional approaches that enhance writing proficiency in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. The research employs a qualitative and quantitative approach, including classroom observations, writing assessments, and student questionnaires, to evaluate learners' progress and identify the factors influencing writing performance.
