Abstract

In the development period, modern communication technologies have profoundly transformed education. Digital platforms, social media, and online learning environments have reshaped knowledge delivery, expanded access to educational resources, and enabled innovative teaching methods. While these technologies improve student engagement, global collaboration, and cultural exchange, they also present challenges such as digital distractions, superficial learning, social isolation, and potential loss of local cultural identity. This review highlights both the positive and negative impacts of digital communication technologies on education and emphasizes the need for balanced strategies to maximize learning outcomes while preserving cultural diversity and equity.
