Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has become a defining feature of modern society, significantly influencing the spiritual, moral, and cultural development of young people. In the digital age, youth actively engage with social media, online platforms, and virtual communication environments, which play a crucial role in shaping their values, behavior, and worldview. This process creates both challenges and opportunities for the formation of youth spirituality.

Among the key challenges are the spread of destructive information, moral degradation, cyber addiction, and the weakening of traditional ethical values. Uncontrolled consumption of digital content may negatively affect young people’s critical thinking, emotional stability, and spiritual consciousness. At the same time, digital technologies provide vast opportunities for spiritual development through access to educational resources, digital libraries, cultural heritage platforms, and online moral education initiatives.

The effective use of digital technologies can contribute to strengthening moral values, promoting national and universal ethics, and fostering socially responsible behavior among youth. Therefore, it is essential to develop digital literacy, moral education strategies, and a value-based approach to technology use. In conclusion, shaping youth spirituality in the context of digital technologies requires coordinated efforts from educational institutions, families, and society to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
