Abstract

This article examines the current state and future prospects of tourism development in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes the historical foundations of tourism, the existing tourism infrastructure, domestic and international tourist flows, as well as the economic and cultural impact of tourism. Special attention is paid to reforms implemented in recent years and their role in enhancing the competitiveness of the tourism sector. Furthermore, key challenges facing the industry are identified, and possible solutions for sustainable tourism development are proposed.
