Abstract

The rapid development of mobile technologies has transformed the educational landscape and created new opportunities for foreign language learning. This study examines the impact of mobile learning on foreign language acquisition by analyzing its role in improving language skills, learner motivation, engagement, and academic achievement. The research is based on a review of relevant literature concerning Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) and the use of smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications in language education. The findings indicate that mobile learning enhances vocabulary acquisition, listening comprehension, speaking proficiency, reading and writing skills, while also promoting learner autonomy and personalized learning experiences. Mobile technologies provide flexible access to educational resources and enable students to practice language skills beyond the traditional classroom environment. However, challenges such as limited internet access, technological constraints, digital literacy issues, and distractions from non-educational applications may affect learning outcomes. The study concludes that mobile learning is an effective and innovative approach to foreign language acquisition when supported by appropriate pedagogical strategies and technological infrastructure. The findings highlight the importance of integrating mobile technologies into language education to improve learning effectiveness and meet the needs of modern learners.
