This paper examines the role of digital tools as an integral component of STEAM-based English language instruction. As educational paradigms increasingly converge around interdisciplinary and technology-enhanced frameworks, the integration of digital platforms, applications, and media into STEAM-oriented language classrooms presents both significant opportunities and practical challenges. Drawing on the theoretical foundations of digital literacy, multimodal learning, and communicative language teaching, this study analyzes how specific categories of digital tools — including collaborative platforms, digital storytelling applications, simulation software, and AI-driven language tools — support language acquisition within STEAM contexts. The paper argues that digital tools, when purposefully embedded in STEAM instruction, amplify authentic language use, foster learner autonomy, and bridge the gap between academic content and real-world communicative competence. Pedagogical recommendations for teachers and curriculum designers are provided.
