This article analyzes the role of motivation and its practical outcomes in developing listening comprehension (auditive competence), which is considered one of the most complex skills in foreign language teaching methodology. The study scientifically substantiates the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors, as well as the effectiveness of using modern pedagogical technologies and multimedia resources to enhance students' listening skills.
