MULTILINGUALISM IN THE MODERN WORLD

Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of multilingualism in the modern world and the relationship of multilingualism with culture, science, and international relations and cooperation. Nowadays, many people are trying to know several languages. In particular, multilingualism is distinguished by its ability to develop intercultural communication and create broad opportunities for the education system and employment. It also highlights the needs that lead to the emergence of this phenomenon. In addition, the article analyzes the main problems encountered in the process of language learning, as well as the ability of different nationalities to preserve their national languages.
