USING AI TOOLS TO IMPROVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into English language learning has significantly transformed modern educational practices. This study explores how AI-powered applications, such as chatbots, speech recognition systems, and adaptive learning platforms, enhance learners’ proficiency in key language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. AI tools provide personalized learning experiences, instant feedback, and interactive environments that support autonomous learning and increase student motivation. Furthermore, the research highlights the role of AI in addressing individual learning differences and promoting communicative competence. Despite these advantages, challenges such as over-reliance on technology and limited human interaction are also discussed. The findings suggest that the effective integration of AI tools can greatly improve the quality and efficiency of English language learning when combined with appropriate pedagogical strategies.
