This thesis covers the methodological foundations of the formation of creative abilities of primary school students. It analyzes scientific and theoretical principles and methodological approaches to the implementation of creativity in the teaching process. The role of innovative technologies, project activities and problem-based learning in the development of creative thinking in students is indicated . The results of the research serve to form creative thinking in the primary education system.
