This article examines the role of innovation in the transformation of the competitive environment in global management. The study argues that the competitiveness of firms and national economies is now determined not only by production scale and cost reduction, but also by the ability to generate knowledge, absorb technology, build adaptive institutions, and rapidly convert ideas into value. Special attention is paid to digital platforms, data-based decision making, open innovation, green transformation, and the reconfiguration of global value chains.
