This article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of effective resource management in the context of global competition. The concept of resources is interpreted broadly, encompassing material, financial, labor, technological, informational, temporal, institutional, and ecological factors. The authors substantiate that at the new stage of global competition, mere access to inexpensive resources is no longer sufficient to secure advantage; rather, the decisive factor lies in the ability to coordinate, redistribute, digitalize, diversify, and strategically direct these resources. The article proposes a three-tier model of resource management: strategic diagnostics, operational coordination, and control based on sustainable development indicators. It also reveals the interrelationship among supply chain resilience, human capital, innovation, logistics, financial discipline, and green transformation. On the basis of international reports and scholarly approaches, the study identifies priority directions for increasing the efficiency of resource utilization.
