GLOBAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES IN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

This article examines the main global characteristics of decision-making processes in international organizations, their significance in contemporary diplomacy, and provides a comparative analysis of foreign practices alongside Uzbekistan’s participation. Using the UN, the European Union, the SCO, and other international institutions as examples, the paper outlines decision-making methods such as multilateral negotiation, consensus-building, voting weight, and legal mechanisms. Uzbekistan’s international initiatives and its active engagement in regional cooperation are assessed as an important part of global decision-making dynamics.
