Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of moral education in the works of the great Uzbek thinker and poet Alisher Navoiy. It explores the process of self-awareness, the image of the human being, the harmony of national and universal values, and the pedagogical significance of moral upbringing in Navoiy’s literary heritage. Special attention is given to the means through which moral virtues are cultivated in his works, and their relevance in today’s society and educational system is examined. The article reveals the immense value of Navoiy’s creative legacy in moral education and the potential for its application in shaping the character of modern youth. Furthermore, virtues such as justice, generosity, humility, and loyalty are highlighted as noble values in Navoiy’s work. The significance of these values in contemporary youth education and their application in today’s educational and moral upbringing processes are discussed. The study demonstrates how a deep understanding of Navoiy’s moral heritage can be used to improve moral education in contemporary society.
