This study investigates challenges and practical solutions in teaching English to 8th-9th grade students in Uzbekistan. Adolescents in this age group frequently exhibit low motivation, incomplete task compliance, and short attention spans, further complicated by typical developmental changes. Limited financial resources and the need for teachers to self-fund instructional materials exacerbate these issues. This paper analyzes these challenges and proposes evidence-based strategies to enhance student engagement, discipline, and language acquisition.
