The rapid development of technology, globalization, and changing educational needs have significantly influenced approaches to English Language Teaching (ELT). Traditional teacher-centered methods are gradually being replaced by innovative, learner-centered techniques that emphasize communication, critical thinking, creativity, and autonomy. This article explores modern methods and techniques in English language teaching, including communicative language teaching, task-based learning, technology-enhanced instruction, project-based learning, and gamification. The study highlights the advantages of these approaches in improving learners’ linguistic competence, motivation, and real-life language use. The findings suggest that innovative methods play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and quality of English language education in the 21st century
