Abstract

This article analyzes the textual characteristics of dictionary entries in modern lexicography and terminography. It focuses on internal structure, functional elements and pragmatic orientation. The research demonstrates that the dictionary article is not a simple explanation of words, but a specialized text type with clearly defined communicative and informational functions. Special emphasis is placed on user orientation, coherence of information and interdisciplinary connections between linguistics and terminological sciences.
