Abstract

Grammar forms the foundation of any language, providing the rules and structures that enable effective communication and comprehension. This paper explores the importance of grammar in English language learning and communication. It examines how grammatical knowledge supports learners in developing accuracy, fluency, and confidence in both spoken and written English. The study also discusses the relationship between grammar and communicative not merely a set of prescriptive rules but a dynamic tool that allows competence, highlighting the need to integrate grammatical instruction within communicative approaches to teaching. The findings emphasize that grammar is speakers to express meaning clearly and appropriately. The paper concludes that a balanced focus on both form and meaning is essential for effective English language learning and real-life communications.
