This article examines the renaissance of engineering and exact sciences in the medieval Eastern world during the Arab Caliphate period. In particular, Abu Rayhan Beruni, along with his engineering views, stated that he made an important contribution to the development of such sciences as chronology, astronomy, geography, geology, geodesy, astronomy, physics, botany, mineralogy, ethnography, and history.
