Abstract

This thesis examines digital diplomacy as a new and increasingly important instrument of international relations. In the modern information age, diplomatic activity is no longer limited to traditional negotiations, official meetings, and written correspondence. Digital technologies, social media platforms, online communication channels, and virtual public diplomacy have changed the way states interact with foreign audiences, international organizations, and global society. Digital diplomacy enables governments to promote national interests, strengthen international image, respond quickly to crises, provide consular support, and communicate foreign policy positions more effectively.
